1. Who this applies to
By using any Sweyam product — this website, Kasho, Sweyam Auth, or any of our software — you're agreeing to these terms. If you're using Sweyam on behalf of a company or team, you're agreeing on their behalf too.
We've tried to write this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we'll explain it.
2. What Sweyam offers
Sweyam builds software in two forms:
Open-source tools
Spatika UI and our design libraries are published openly. You can read the source, build with them, host them yourself, or contribute improvements. We publish them because we believe in open, inspectable software.
Hosted services
Kasho and Sweyam Auth are cloud services we run for you. Your data is encrypted and lives in Indian infrastructure. You pay for the service, not your data — we never sell it.
3. Your data is yours
Everything you put into Kasho or any Sweyam product belongs to you. Full stop.
We store it to make the product work. We don't claim ownership of it, mine it for advertising, or share it with anyone who isn't you. You can export all of it at any time in standard formats, and you can delete everything permanently whenever you choose.
We will never use your financial records, notes, or any personal data to train AI models or sell marketing inferences.
4. Your account
When you create a Sweyam account, a few things are on you:
- Keep your login credentials — passkeys, authenticator — secure and don't share them.
- Let us know at [email protected] if something looks wrong with your account.
- The email address you sign up with should be one you actually check.
We'll use your email for account-related notices — not marketing, unless you explicitly ask for updates.
5. Fair use
We trust you to use Sweyam in good faith. A short list of things that aren't acceptable:
- Attempting to break into, probe, or stress-test our servers without permission.
- Using Sweyam for fraud, money laundering, or any activity that's illegal in India.
- Automating large volumes of requests that degrade service for other users.
- Distributing malware or attempting to compromise other users' accounts.
If we ever suspend or close an account for abuse, we'll tell you why unless the law prevents us from doing so.
6. Subscriptions and refunds
Where Sweyam products have paid tiers:
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
- You can cancel any subscription at any time with no penalty. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
- If something doesn't work as expected in the first 14 days, ask us for a refund. We'll make it right.
7. Kasho is not financial advice
Kasho helps you track and understand your own money. It's a personal ledger, not a financial advisor. The budgets, charts, and projections it shows are based entirely on data you enter — they're for your own clarity, not professional guidance.
For investment decisions, tax filing, or major financial planning, please consult a qualified professional. We're good at software; they're good at that.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there's ever a dispute that we can't resolve by talking, it will be settled in the courts of Kerala, India.
