Own the whole stack
Sign-in, sync and the design system are ours. When the layer underneath an app belongs to someone else, so do its rules, its prices and its data. We would rather build the layer.
സ്വീയംस्वीयम्said swee-yam · one's own
Sweyam builds sovereign technology in India: software that is designed, built, owned and run here, for people who should own what is theirs.
01
In Sanskrit, svīya means “one's own” — the thing that belongs to you rather than to someone who lets you use it. We spell it Sweyam and say it swee-yam.
It is a small word for a large idea. Most of the software people depend on is rented: their money sits in apps paid for by advertising, their logins live with platforms they never chose, their photos and films sit on someone else's servers under someone else's terms. The name is a promise to do it the other way round.
02
Sweyam didn't start with a market study. It started with what one household needed, and couldn't find without strings attached.
Each one needed the same things underneath — accounts, sync, a consistent way to build screens — so we built those once and properly: Sweyam Core and Spatika UI. That is how a handful of tools turned into a stack.
03
For us, sovereign technology is a practical idea, not a slogan. It means the important layers are ours, so the apps on top answer to the people who use them. This is the whole stack, and we build every part of it.

Sign-in, sync and the design system are ours. When the layer underneath an app belongs to someone else, so do its rules, its prices and its data. We would rather build the layer.
We don't run advertising and we don't sell what you do in our apps. A finance app should not have a credit-card offer between your transactions.
Sovereignty has to apply to our users too. Sweyam Auth speaks standard OpenID Connect, and ReelStash runs on your own machine. Choosing us should never trap you.
Not everything we make is open source, but the pieces other builders can use are. Spatika UI is on npm and ReelStash is open for anyone to run and improve.
Salaries in rupees, rent on the fifth, a shared trip to settle, a film in your own language. We design from the way people here actually live, not from a template made elsewhere.
Commerce and CRM are not shipped, and the site says so. Everything we call live is in daily use by the people who built it.
05
Next are the tools small businesses run on. Commerce will let a shop sell directly over ONDC and UPI, without a marketplace in the middle. CRM will keep a team's customers and deals private. Both will stand on the same Auth, Core and Spatika as everything else.
We will keep building the way we started: one real need at a time, on a stack we own, and honest about what is finished.
Whether you want to use what we make, work on it, or partner with us — we'd like to hear from you.
