1. What the app does
ReelStash (com.sweyam.reelstash) is a client for a ReelStash media server that you or someone else hosts. Sweyam does not host your media library in this app. Connecting to a server is your choice.
2. Eligibility
You must be allowed to use the server you connect to. Sign-in (password or device pairing) follows that server's operator. If you are not the operator, follow their rules.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- Access a server or media you are not authorised to use
- Circumvent security, PIN lock, or access controls
- Distribute malware or abuse any ReelStash server's network
- Violate copyright or other laws in your country
You are responsible for the legality of the media on your server.
4. Your content & servers
Media, metadata, watch history, and accounts live on the ReelStash server, not on Sweyam's cloud. The server operator handles backups, retention, and account deletion there. Uninstalling the app removes local tokens and caches; it does not delete server-side data.
5. Intellectual property
- The ReelStash server software is offered under the GNU GPL v3.
- Fonts in the app (Bricolage Grotesque, Inter) are under the SIL Open Font License.
- Sweyam and ReelStash names and logos are trademarks of their owners. Do not imply endorsement without permission.
6. Open source
Third-party libraries and fonts are used under their licences. Full attribution: open-source licences. Font OFL texts also ship in the app (Settings → Open-source licences). Source for GPL-covered software is at github.com/sweyam-in/reelstash.
7. No warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted playback. Self-hosted setups vary; decoding and network quality depend on your device and server.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sweyam is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of media, or damages from use of a third-party or self-hosted server. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
9. Privacy
How this client handles data is described in the ReelStash privacy policy. Library and account data on a server follow that server's policies.
10. Payments
This client does not sell subscriptions or process payments. Hosting or hardware costs are outside this app.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change. You may stop using the app by uninstalling it. Company-wide terms: sweyam.com/terms.
